RE'A NEWS App Design

RE’A is a human-centered design project exploring how followers of Christ can engage with news and current events in a more grounded, thoughtful way. Through research and the full design process, I developed a concept for a news platform that presents factual reporting alongside multiple perspectives, allowing users to stay informed without being overwhelmed by divisive narratives. RE’A also integrates daily moments of Scripture, prayer, and reflection, encouraging users to process current events with clarity, empathy, and hope while remaining spiritually grounded.

JBhunt UX Research Ai Agents

AI and the creation of AI agents are becoming critical tools for streamlining the UX research and design process. I created two agents for the J.B. Hunt UX team to use during and after the research phase to help navigate and organize the J.B. Hunt research repository. These agents were designed to function as personal assistants for the UX research team. Their implementation helped spark the creation of an additional UX content AI agent and encouraged broader brainstorming around how AI can be further integrated across functional teams into everyday workflows to improve efficiency while saving time and money.

Apostle Museum Branding

Throughout history, sports and athletes have captivated the world, transcending generations and cultures. Rooted in a biblical worldview, this project was inspired by witnessing athletes boldly proclaiming Jesus’ name on the world’s biggest stages. It taps into a universal search for purpose.

Women’s Health Icons

A significant number of women lack comprehensive education about their own bodies, with many unaware of basic anatomy and reproductive health. In fact, a recent survey found that 57% of women admitted they don’t know enough about their bodies. When a problem arises, the first instinct is often to seek medical help or prescription drugs, solutions that can act as a temporary fix but don’t address the root cause or empower women to understand their own health.

About Me

Hello! My name is Ava Cate Cameron, and I am a senior graphic design student at the University of Arkansas, graduating this May. I was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas, and I am majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History. I have a strong interest in problem-solving, media, and communication, and I am excited to pursue a career in UX design and strategy.

Through both academic work and hands-on experience, I have developed skills in user-centered design, research, and organization, while leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency of the research and design process. As I prepare to transition from student to professional, I am actively seeking opportunities where I can contribute thoughtful, strategic solutions while continuing to learn and refine.

I love all things history, long walks, people, whole foods, podcasts, research, women’s health, matcha and coffee dates, the beach, and designing wedding stationery for brides on the side.
